Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)

Information for High School Counselors

We appreciate the time and energy you put forth in assisting our shared students!

Notice of Student Registrations

The Minnesota Department of Education will only accept the respective NOSR form version for the respective academic year. Please make sure you are submitting the correct form. Updated forms are available under Forms & Handbooks. All PSEO participants must have a current NOSR on file or they will see outstanding charges on their accounts. Forms will no longer be grandfathered in from previous years per MDE.

PSEO Student Schedules

PSEO student schedules will be sent to designated high school contacts (or the principal in the absence of a designee) during the third week of the St. Cloud State University semester. Please note that high school academic years and the college academic year may not align. You can view institutional important dates here.

Grades & Transcripts

Grades will be sent directly from the PSEO Team to designated high school contacts (or the principal in the absence of a designee) when grades post in late December/early January for fall semester, and late May for spring semester. Please note that high school academic years and the college academic year may not align. You can view institutional important dates here. We will send final transcripts as soon as they are available. The St. Cloud State University Grading System is available online.

Advising & Registration

Students admitted to the PSEO program will complete an advising and registration program that orients them to the PSEO program and prepares them for course registration.  This program is offered online through SCSU's learning platform, D2L.  Directions on how to access this program will be included in a student's admission letter. We ask our incoming student to complete an advising form about their remaining high school graduation requirements and specific courses that the high school may require. Please keep in mind, we refer students back to their high school to determine how SCSU courses will transfer back and whether they will meet high school graduation requirements.

Registration

PSEO students register at the end of each registration matrix. For fall semester, this is typically in late November and early April for spring semester for returning students. Students are welcome to register on campus with SCSU staff, but are also free to register anywhere they have internet access. Students may continue to adjust their schedules throughout the first week of classes. Current students must have a new Notice of Student Registration form on file by posted deadlines; new students must complete orientation programming prior to registering for courses. Course schedules are available online and available to the public once posted.
